First Presbyterian Church Plano, TX, The Clothing Church

A church in east Plano that wants to help with clothing needs for those in need in our community. The Clothing Churchclothing Body and Soul.

We currently have a clothes closet (located and operating at our church for over 50 years), supply and distribute clothing at four monthly Streetside Showers events in Plano, TX., supply clothing to Plano Overnight Warming Station (POWS) events, work hand in hand with Hope Restored Missions with their clothing initiative, and supply clothing and bibles, as needed, to the Breaking Free Inc organization.

WePREPARE clothing donations: By excepting, gathering, sorting, labelling, washing/mending (as needed), and shelving clothing donations.

WeDISTRIBUTE clothes: By handing out clothing currently at four Streetside Shower monthly events out in our community all year around. We pack/deliver clothing for Plano Overnight Warming Station (POWS) events during cold weather months. Supply clothing and bibles to Breaking Free Inc as needed. We help keep Hope Restored Missions clothing inventory balanced to better help their clients. We offer an opportunity for families with clothing needs to get clothes at our church, monthly, through our clothes closet.
