Literacy Lubbock promotes the empowerment of adults and families by developing, conducting, and supporting literacy programs for Lubbock area residents. We were established in 1989 as an education and human services organization. Literacy Lubbock provides Adult Basic Education (Reading), English as a Second Language (ESL), Pre-GED, GED study, Dyslexia training, and Family Literacy programs to any adult residing in the South Plains area. Our individual tutors and small classroom instructors aid our students as they work to achieve their personal goals.
