About

The Sierra Club is the oldest and largest environmental organization in the nation, and we are dedicated to exploring, enjoying and protecting our planet. The Four Lakes Group and the Wisconsin Chapter offer many different programs and campaigns as part of our work. Climate change and moving beyond coal are our top national campaigns, but we also work on clean energy, regional transit, water and waste reduction, and often work on other issues as they arise. More information can be found at ourFour Lakes Group Website, the statewide Chapter Website, or the national Sierra Club website.

Mission Statement

The Four Lakes Group is your local branch of the Sierra Club, America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. Representing over 5,000 members in Southwest Wisconsin, we are an all volunteer organization dedicated to environmental education and conservation. We host outings, engage with urban youth, help with zero waste festivals and events, support candidates for office who align with our interests, encourage utilities to get off coal, and offer free social opportunities and educational programs.
