About this Opportunity
Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference in someone's life? Bristol Hospice Tulsa is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as companion volunteers for patients in their final stages of life.
What You'll Do:
- Visit patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities.
- Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply sitting quietly together.
- Provide a comforting presence to patients who may not have family nearby.
- Support emotional well-being through kindness and attentiveness.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding process. Pass background and TB screening (provided at no cost). Have reliable transportation.
Time Commitment: Flexible with your schedule - Just 1-2 hours a week can make a meaningful impact!
