About this Opportunity
Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly's philosophy, programs and activities are focused on alleviating loneliness and isolation among elders in Chicago. The elders we work with have little to no contact with family and/or friends and are essentially alone. Volunteers support elders in friendship through various activities and programs. The best way to alleviate loneliness and isolation are regular in-person visits. We are seeking volunteers that can commit to visiting or calling an elder twice a month for the next 12 months.
