About this Opportunity

Are you fluent in a language or dialect commonly spoken in our community? Use your skills to make a meaningful impact as a Translator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Help ensure that everyone in our community has equal access to tax services!

What Youll Do:

  • Provide translation support for clients during their tax appointments.
  • Assist with clear communication between clients and volunteers, ensuring accuracy and understanding.
  • Help create a welcoming environment by bridging language gaps.
  • Translation opportunities may be scheduled based on need or reserved for specific days.
