About this Opportunity

Conversations in Motion: Acquaint Walks Pilot

We’re piloting a new way to practice and promote human connection in local communities across the globe, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Acquaint is a global nonprofit that recruits volunteers to help deepen human connection everywhere. To date, our platform has enabled over 25,000 hours of one-on-one conversations between volunteers from over 110 countries.

Now, we are exploring new ways to expand our impact in local communities. For this event, we are testing a new in-person program: Acquaint Walks.

How it Works:

  • We’ll gather at Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellevue (details to be provided closer to event time)
  • After a short welcome and check-in, we’ll pair (or trio) participants.
  • You’ll then go for a walk together, guided by conversation prompts rooted in the Acquaint Mindset—listening openly, learning from each other, and connecting across differences.
  • At the end, we’ll regroup briefly and share reflections.

This pilot is small by design and will likely be between 6-15 people. In the future, we hope to expand Acquaint Walks to bring together larger communities across divides (churches, mosques, cultural organizations, groups from different economic backgrounds, etc.).

By joining this first test, you’ll help shape something that can grow into a powerful movement for connection!
