About this Opportunity
Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 8 students with special needs to explore Hong Kong community outside their dormitory. The school hopes that the students can enjoy a good day out and know more about the community facilities. This activity will allow students to appreciate the scenic landmarks of Tai O and enjoy local delicacies.
Volunteer Roles:
- Volunteers will meet at Tai O and assist the students in appreciating the scenic attractions there, as well as tasting Tai O's local food and delicacies.
- Volunteers will need to push wheelchairs for the students and accompany them to the toilets when required.
- We kindly request that volunteers cover the cost of their own meals.
- All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members who wish to join are warmly welcome—please ensure that each person registers and signs up separately.
